A colorful life is a good life.

People often get surprised by how I stay so positive after all the tragedies and challenges I’ve faced. Balancing life as a mom, working and exercising regularly, it was not about motivation but was about punctuality and the compound effect.

My day starts early with school lunch for my son, then continue with self study, work, or other self improvement activities. In the evening, I head to my workout, and I make it a point to be there punctually.

When I am at gym, I enjoy group class or group exercise, I look around and feel so much admiration. I see people being there to commit to a better version of themselves. I respect the grind and I do the same. I enjoy meeting the people in the gym.

One work out doesn’t change a thing but showing up punctually, day after day, year after year, creates a massive shift. It builds a strength that isn’t just in my muscles, but in my character. Exercise is my ‘reset’ button’ pushing my body physically clears the mental fog from a long day.

Strength makes me capable and discipline makes me happier.
